What You Will Do:

We’re looking for a dynamic, self-motivated student who can quickly become a significant contributor. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions and systemic improvements to real world challenges and learn design and manufacturing activities in a fast-paced and creative avionics manufacturing company. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interface with manufacturing engineers, toolmakers, and production operators and managers to improve tooling systems 
  • Analyze, optimize, and refine process and tooling to meet reliability, compliance, and production goals 
  • Become familiar with manufacturing and tooling processes and capabilities 
  • Interface with hardware design, tooling, and quality groups to solve problems 
  • Learn and follow standard engineering practices 

Preferred Education

  • You must be actively working towards a 4-year engineering or similar 2-year technical degree (Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial preferred) 

Preferred Specialized Skills and Abilities

  • Availability to work onsite in Everett, 5 days per week for a 10-14 week period 
  • Excellent communication and organization skills 

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines and computer printers.
  • Frequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer.
  • The person in this position needs to frequently move inside the office.
  • Frequent close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Occasional use of steps, or ladder.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Seldom to occasionally position self to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Work Environment:

  • This job operates in a professional manufacturing environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet.

Salary Range
Please note the typical hiring range is Freshman/Sophomore $28.00 Junior/Senior $31.00 hourly.
