Intern Description:

You will be exposed to avionics lighting metrology concepts, requirements, and testing methods, as well as quality and manufacturing processes.  The selected person will be a dynamic, self-motivated employee who can quickly become a significant, individual contributor in a multi-disciplined development team. The successful candidate will learn design and manufacturing activities in a fast-paced, creative, avionic and defense manufacturing company. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Become familiarized with lighting metrology and test parameters
  • Opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the test system development process
  • Test and refine measurement system software
  • Interface with hardware design and manufacturing
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above
  • Understand and live by Korry’s ethics and business conduct policies

Requirements:           

  • Ability to understand design and test rationale
  • Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Must be organized, have an eye for detail, and be able to put ideas into a tangible form
  • Availability to work onsite in Everett, 5 days per week for the entire 10-12 week internship Excellent communication skills
  • Background in Physics is a plus
  • Background in Robotics is a plus
  • Undertaking a Bachelors Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or Engineering in Computer Science

Salary Range
Please note the typical hiring range is Freshman/Sophomore $28.00 Junior/Senior $31.00 hourly.
