What You Will Do:

Join our Fabrication Team as a Machine Operator! You'll handle moderate machine setups and optimize machine parameters/inputs in your work centers with limited oversight. Your assignments will be moderately complex, requiring judgment in resolving issues and making routine suggestions.

This is a full-time position and standard hours are 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic machine setups and routine preventive maintenance.
  • Operate and set up manufacturing processes, optimizing parameters and inputs.
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting of production tools, tooling, and test equipment.
  • Manage inventory and enter data.
  • Read and work from drawings, blueprints, and shop paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively and work collaboratively in a team.
  • Cross-train to enable movement between work centers.

May Perform:

  • Shelf life and calibration tasks.
  • Training to progressing employees.

Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • At least two years of experience working in a production environment
  • The ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • A strong regard for safety of yourself and your team members
  • Possess good hand/eye coordination; attention to detail
  • Basic computer and math knowledge
  • Ability to work and communicate in a team atmosphere
  • A cooperative, eager to learn attitude
  • Availability to work overtime as needed to support customer demand
  • Experience with thermal sets
  • Experience with plastics
  • Previous painting experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift, carry, push and or pull 1-50 lbs frequently.
  • Squat/kneel, bend/stoop, crawl, twist/turn, grasp and reach overhead and outward frequently.
  • Sit, stand, and walk for 1 -10 hours per day.
  • Hearing and vision protection, steel-toed shoes, and appropriate protective clothing.

Pay Range:
Please note the typical hiring range is $25.00 - $28.00 Hourly. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
