What You Will Do:

  • Understand and follow the established inspection processes, including sampling inspection plans.
  • Inspect incoming product while using common measuring equipment including, but not limited to: CMM, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, radius gauges, surface plates, Go No-Go pins.
  • Review all paperwork required by the Purchase Order or Job Order for completeness and accuracy, evaluate if Certificate of Compliance meets all of the listed requirements.
  • Review supplier provided first article reports for completeness per AS9102.
  • Review any Discrepancy reports on previously received product. Note discrepancies, stated causes, and corrective action. Use this information to indicate possible problem areas.
  • Write clear Discrepancy Reports if parts are rejected.
  • Report order status in ERP system.
  • Follow Safety procedures. Follow product safety related procedures.
  • Support other inspection departments/areas at Korry.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Working knowledge of common inspection, measuring equipment, including, but not limited to: CMM, micrometers, calipers, height gauges, radius gauges, surface plates, Go No-Go pins.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of Geometric Dimension and Tolerancing (GD&T) methods per ASME 14.5.
  • Able to interpret drawings and part specifications, review and understand Purchase Order and Job Order requirements.
  • Experience with inspection of electronic assemblies, circuit card assemblies (CCAs) per IPC-A-610.
  • Experience working with ERP system (Syteline preferred), and with MS Excel, Word and Outlook. Experience with Net-Inspect.
  • Good understanding of AS9100, AS9102 standards requirements and experience working within aerospace industry.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities, willingness to learn and receive training.
  • Maintain the highest ethical standards, even when challenged from above.


Preferred Education/Previous Experience Requirements:

  • Two-year associate degree, or Diploma, or other post-high school training.
  • A minimum of 4 years experience in receiving inspection including dimensional inspection of material, assembly and components in aerospace industry, electronics preferred.


Salary Range:
Please note the typical hiring range is $26.00- $35.00 hourly. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
