What You Will Do:

The Test Engineer plans and conducts the activities of required to support engineering and production test equipment performing a variety of complex technical tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates proficiency with Test Engineering ATE equipment
  • Troubleshoots test equipment to determine root cause and implement corrective action as required
  • Develops test equipment from schematics, rough sketches, and/or verbal instructions
  • Performs complex DVT, HALT/HASS, ESS & Qualification tests
  • Prepares test documentation including Test Plans, Procedures and Reports
  • Performs special projects/tasks as assigned.

Preferred Education

  • Four year technical degree or equivalent

Preferred Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years technical experience
  • Experience within a manufacturing environment, dealing with aerospace or in a highly regulated industry desired

Preferred Specialized Skills and Abilities

  • Familiarity with Test Engineering equipment and personal computer skills using Microsoft Office required
  • Familiarity with LabView and PXI/PXIe modules
  • Highly motivated and possess effective oral/written communication and interpersonal/team skills
  • Environmental/EMI testing with thermal chambers, hot/cold testing, vibration testing, humidity testing and troubleshooting test boxes and fixing cables
  • Experience using MIL-STD 202, MIL-STD- 461, MIL-STD-810 and RTCA DO-160 documents for testing desired
  • Must possess excellent time management skills (ability to multitask and delegate work to support customers and peers)

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines and computer printers.
  • Frequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer.
  • The person in this position needs to frequently move inside the office
  • Frequent close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Eligibility Requirements:

**Must be authorized to work in the U.S.**

**Must be able to work in an ITAR-controlled facility, or eligible to obtain required export authorization**

Salary Range:

The typical hiring range for this role is:

  • Level II: $92,000-$138,000
  • Level III: $104,000–$156,000

Final offers are based on job-related qualifications and pay equity.
