What You Will Do: 

As an Inspector in our FAA Part 145 Repair Station, you are the final line of defense for flight safety. You won’t just check boxes; you’ll apply technical expertise to ensure complex aerospace articles and high-end electronic components meet rigorous design specifications and Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) standards. From analyzing fabricated parts to verifying intricate assemblies, your eye for detail ensures that every product leaving Korry is airworthy and elite.

Primary Responsibilities: Precision, Compliance, and Leadership

  • The Final Word on Airworthiness: Perform comprehensive inspections of repaired and overhauled aircraft articles, ensuring 100% conformance to company standards and global regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA, CAAC).
  • Regulatory Authority: Issue critical release certificates (FAA Form 8130-3, CAAC Form AC-038) and manage high-stakes data integrity within our ERP and quality databases.
  • Technical Mastery: Execute visual, dimensional, electrical, and optical inspections. You will perform complex equipment set-ups and interpret engineering drawings that others find daunting.
  • Continuous Improvement: Don’t just find defects—prevent them. You will recommend process improvements to enhance the testability and manufacturability of our products.
  • Mentor & Lead: Act as a subject matter expert by cross-training junior inspectors and assisting the Repair Station Manager in hitting performance benchmarks without compromising quality.
  • Stay Sharp: Maintain an expert-level understanding of our Repair Station, Quality Control, and Training Manuals.

Role Requirements: The Essentials

  • Safety First: Participation in Korry’s FAA/DOT Drug & Alcohol testing plan is mandatory.
  • Communication: Fluent professional proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

  • Regulatory Pedigree: Proven experience working within an FAA Part 145 environment.
  • Technical Literacy: Ability to fluently read and interpret complex manufacturing drawings.
  • Tool Expertise: Mastery of the full spectrum of inspection measurement equipment—from basic calipers to advanced diagnostic tools.

  • Physical Requirements:
    • Frequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines and computer printers.
    • Frequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer.
    • The person in this position needs to frequently move inside the office
    • Frequent close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
    • Ability to lift more than 25 lbs

    Pay Range
    Please note the typical hiring range is $25.13 - $34.00 per hour. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
