What You Will Do:

As a Supply Chain Intern, you will play a key role in supporting operational excellence and process improvement within Korry’s Supply Chain organization. Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, you will partner closely with Procurement, Materials, and Shipping teams to streamline data accuracy, optimize workflows, and enhance system utilization. In this role, you will be instrumental in completing the transition to Supply Planning Software, cleaning up item master attributes, and documenting procurement best practices. Your contributions will directly support improved cycle times, reduced waste, and greater efficiency across the supply chain. This position offers you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in aerospace supply chain management while driving meaningful improvements that impact customer delivery and business performance.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the full transition to Supply Planning Software, ensuring data integrity, system adoption, and user readiness across the supply chain team.
  • Clean up and validate item master attributes in ERP systems to improve accuracy, visibility, and decision-making.
  • Optimize procurement workflows by analyzing current processes, identifying inefficiencies, and documenting best practices to reduce cycle times through automation and standardization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements that enhance supply chain agility and responsiveness.
  • Assist with reporting and metrics development to track progress against productivity and efficiency goals.
  • Perform special projects/tasks as assigned.

Preferred Education

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Coursework or certification in Lean principles or data analytics preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • Prior internship or project experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations is a plus.
  • Exposure to ERP systems, data management, or process improvement initiatives preferred.

Preferred Specialized Skills and Abilities

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and data visualization tools; familiarity with LeanDNA is a plus.
  • Ability to document processes clearly and communicate effectively across teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative mindset with willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines and computer printers.
  • Frequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer.
  • The person in this position needs to frequently move inside the office.
  • Frequent close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

  • This job operates in a professional office environment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet.

Salary Range
Please note the typical hiring range is Freshman/Sophomore $28.00 Junior/Senior $31.00 hourly.
