What You Will Do:

Join us as a Principal Operations Engineer, where you will be the vital link between our innovative engineering teams, skilled technicians, and dynamic operational departments. You'll drive seamless communication, resolve critical daily issues, and ensure our operations are scalable, reliable, and cost-effective. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Drive Strategic Operational Success: Develop and execute cutting-edge operations engineering strategies and plans that directly support key business objectives.
  • Be the Integration Expert: Proactively identify and conquer technical integration challenges spanning engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and testing.
  • Lead with Technical Excellence: Mentor and inspire operations engineering teams in a collaborative, high-performance culture, providing hands-on support across the entire product lifecycle.
  • Master Process Optimization: Utilize your deep knowledge of design principles (CCA, cable assemblies, HMI products like illuminated switches and aerospace displays) to design and implement innovative, automated solutions.
  • Champion Quality & Compliance: Establish and uphold top-tier operations engineering standards, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Deliver Flawless Project Execution: Manage project timelines and requirements to guarantee on-schedule completion and the highest quality output, while effectively mitigating risks.
  • Build Strong Stakeholder Relationships: Communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders, representing operations engineering in key technical reviews and supplier engagements.
  • Innovate the Future: Stay ahead of the curve, monitoring industry innovations and integrating state-of-the-art engineering methods and tools into our operational workflows.
  • Performs special projects/tasks as assigned.

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent field

Preferred Experience

  • 10+ years relevant experience in Engineering, or manufacturing

Preferred Specialized Skills and Abilities

  • Deep expertise in circuit card assembly (CCA), cable assemblies, Human-Machine Interface (HMI) products, including illuminated switches, cockpit control panels, and aerospace displays.
  • Proven success in identifying and implementing process improvements with a focus on automation and efficiency.
  • Strong project management capabilities, including risk identification and mitigation strategies.
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, effectively bridging engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams.
  • Ability to apply rigorous engineering principles to research and resolve complex technical, operational, and quality issues.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines and computer printers.
  • Frequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer.
  • The person in this position needs to frequently move inside the office
  • Frequent close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Salary Range
Please note the typical hiring range is $147,900 - $200,100 annually. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
