What You Will Do:

Are you an engineering leader with a passion for aerospace and a track record of building high-performing teams? We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead a team of talented individual contributors developing cutting-edge technology for our Korry product line. In this role, you will be a visionary leader, driving innovation in integrated aerospace displays, airborne computing, avionics, and optical systems. 

This is a high-impact position where your strategic leadership will directly influence the future of aerospace technology. You'll work at the forefront of the industry, mentoring a team of experts and solving complex engineering challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Innovate and inspire: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Deliver groundbreaking products: Drive the design, development, and testing of next-generation aerospace products. Ensure the team consistently delivers high-quality, cost-effective, and robust solutions that meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Shape the future: Translate our business strategy and technology roadmap into actionable goals for your team, ensuring every project is aligned with the company's long-term vision.
  • Optimize for excellence: Implement best practices to improve engineering efficiency and streamline our New Product Development (NPD) process.
  • Champion strategic vision: Collaborate with other business units and senior leadership to align on product development and production support.
  • Empower your team: Ensure your engineers have the resources and support needed to thrive. Guide your team through complex challenges. 
  • Performs special projects/tasks as assigned

Preferred Education

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Experience

  • A successful track record of leading and managing high-performing engineering teams.
  • Proven ability to manage technical, cost, and schedule performance on complex development and sustaining programs.
  • Technical knowledge in a relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, systems, software or test).
  • The ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Specialized Skills and Abilities

  • Demonstrated experience with industry standards (e.g., ARP-4754A, DO-178C, DO-254) and export regulations (ITAR). 

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines and computer printers.
  • Frequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer.
  • The person in this position needs to frequently move inside the office
  • Frequent close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

Salary Range:

Please note the typical hiring range is $170,000 - $230,000 annually. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
