What You Will Do:

Works with and assists in a wide variety of maintenance, repair, and testing tasks in the Repair Station. This position must have a high competency with equipment and repair processes, with the skills and knowledge to perform repairs on all product lines. This role also participates in the planning of new products capabilities.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Test, evaluate, disassemble, and repair aerospace electronic and electro-mechanical components and assemblies under FAA Part 145 regulations.
  • Interpret and verify customer complaints.
  • Read and interpret drawings and electrical schematics.
  • Perform maintenance using Component Maintenance Manuals and other technical documentation.
  • Document findings and develop repair plans under supervision of FAA Part 65 Repairmen.
  • Document work performed to return repair articles to service.
  • Generate test reports.
  • Assist junior technicians in training.
  • Cross train in different product lines.
  • Coordinate work priorities and provide scheduling delivery information.
  • Manage sustaining activities with engineering and needed.
  • Represents the Repair Station in planning of new product capabilities.
  • Interface with the customer on technical issues.
  • Performs special projects/tasks as assigned

Role Requirements

  • Must participate in Korry’s FAA/DOT Drug & Alcohol testing plan.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Preferred Education

  • Minimum AA/AS degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma, Skilled Trades Apprenticeship, or other post-high school training (two years duration), or equivalent military training, in Electronics.

Preferred Experience

  • 5 years’ combined training/experience in electronics.
  • Experience with digital and analog electronics and general hands-on mechanical experience.

Preferred Specialized Skills and Abilities

  • Sound understanding with many aspects of core technology.
  • Can operate all machinery and test equipment needed to repair and test product.
  • Able to interface with costumers in a technical capacity.

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer.
  • Frequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines and computer printers.
  • The person in this position needs to frequently move inside the office.
  • Frequent close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Lift, carry, push and or pull 1-30 lbs as needed
  • Sit, stand and walk for 1 – 10 hours per day
  • Work in a fast-paced industrial environment wearing hearing protection, vision protection, steel-toed shoes, and appropriate protective equipment as required

Salary Range
Please note the typical hiring range is $34.00 - $45.05 hourly. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
