What You Will Do:

This role will have the primary responsibility of managing a team of test engineers and technicians focused on integrated testing of aerospace displays, airborne computing systems, avionics and optical products across the Korry product line. In this role, you will be responsible for providing people, programmatic, and technical management to reliably execute on the business scope. Your team will coordinate with all test stakeholders, troubleshoot test equipment and address root cause through corrective action, develop test equipment from schematics, rough sketches, and/or verbal instructions, perform complex DVT, HALT/HASS, ESS & Qualification tests, and determine time standards for tests and the most cost-effective methods of performing tests.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the Business Units’ goals for product development, productivity, and daily production
  • Create, measure, communicate, and drive group performance for the Korry Test Engineering team and partners
  • Think and Act like an owner, lead daily operations, and ensure test engineering goals are met
  • Collaborate with other managers to ensure that customer and regulatory testing requirements are met for new developments and production shipments
  • Ensure the organization maintains a robust Test Engineering and test equipment system
  • Create and maintain the requirements for the test equipment used by the organization
  • Responsible for hiring, training, motivation, counseling of employees
  • Provide guidance to Directors
  • Performs special projects/tasks as assigned.

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science

Preferred Experience 

  • 7 years’ experience in Test Engineering or equivalent
  • Proven experience and successful track record leading teams
  • Demonstrated experience building, optimizing, and evolving team tools, processes, and standards.
  • Hands-on experience in developing, authoring, and executing integrated tests on avionics

Salary Range:
Please note the typical hiring range is $140,250 - $189,750 annually. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
