What You Will Do
​​​​​​​

As an Assembler you will build electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies and components for use in the aerospace industry. Will provide support, and follow direction from Supervisor/Manager, Team Lead, Engineering Aides and Inspection personnel. This position will have direct contact with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Test Engineering, Calibration, and Supervision.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assembles component and/or subassemblies in conformance to drawing, time and quality standards with limited supervision
  • Works from and has a general knowledge of Engineering drawings and specifications, standard work instructions, quality standards, test procedures, and assembly instructions
  • Adhere to all Safety and Quality Procedures
  • Adhere to lot traceability and general inventory practices
  • Cross-train on multiple products and/or between production lines
  • Support and participate in continuous improvement activities
  • Operate hand tools and shop equipment
  • Understand and live by Korry’s culture
  • Work overtime as needed
  • Other tasks as assigned

Preferred Education and Experience 

  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • 0-2 years’ experience working in electronics production and assembly

Specialized Skills and Abilities

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to follow detailed processing sheets; able to read and follow basic blueprints and drawings
  • Must have a keen attention to detail
  • Must have basic ability to operate a computer
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and effectively communicate
  • Participates in problem solving teams to develop process improvements
  • Willing to work extra hours, and potentially weekends


Physical Requirements

  • Frequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines and computer printers.
  • Frequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer.
  • The person in this position needs to frequently move inside the office
  • Frequent close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Occasionally use of steps, or ladder.
  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Seldom to occasionally position self to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.


Work Environment production roles

  • This position is for Day Shift (6:00am-2:30pm), Monday through Friday.
  • The ambient noise level is low on Swing Shift, but hearing protection is provided, upon request.
  • This job operates in a professional manufacturing environment.

Salary Range
Please note the typical hiring range is $24.00 - $28.00 hourly. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
