What You Will Do:

As a Supply Chain Program Manager, you will lead key initiatives focused on inventory optimization, value engineering, systems integration, process improvement, and technology adoption to drive efficiency and cost savings across the supply chain. You will play a critical role in reducing excess and obsolete inventory, improving inventory turns, and achieving annual productivity savings beyond target goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for technical data transfers, small business reporting, and driving cross-functional collaboration between Procurement, Engineering, and Operations to enhance product quality, productivity, and overall operational performance.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Inventory and Obsolescence Management: Develop and implement strategic inventory management practices to minimize excess stock, mitigate component obsolescence risks, and improve inventory turns.
  • Value Engineering: Drive cost optimization efforts through value engineering principles while ensuring product quality and performance remain uncompromised.
  • Systems Integration: Evaluate, enhance, and implement ERP, PLM, and vendor management systems to improve supply chain visibility, efficiency, and data accuracy. Manage Technical Data Transfer submittals until a streamlined process is established.
  • Collaborative Link to Engineering: Serve as a liaison between Procurement and Engineering, fostering cross-functional coordination and ensuring total cost of ownership considerations throughout the component lifecycle.
  • Technology Adoption: Identify and implement emerging supply chain technologies, such as AI-driven analytics, IoT-enabled visibility, and digital procurement platforms, to improve decision-making and agility.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze and optimize procurement workflows, reducing cycle times through automation and best practices.
  • Team Support and Leadership: Support the Purchasing team, assist with ISR and SRR processing through eSRS, and oversee small business reporting and planning efforts.

Preferred Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
  • OR equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in procurement, engineering, or operations, preferably within aerospace or high-tech manufacturing
  • Proven track record in process improvements, system integrations, and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Experience with ERP and PLM systems and procurement software.

Specialized Skills and Abilities

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive initiatives to completion.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build effective relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics and reporting.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with Jira is a plus

Salary Range

Please note the typical hiring range is $90,000 - $130,000 annually. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
