What You Will Do:

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will lead and influence suppliers to achieve Korry’s quality and delivery goals.  You will bring your passion for quality, knowing that anything worth doing is worth doing right!  You will use data to take action and solve problems and work vendors to understand our business as a whole.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monitors supplier quality performance by tracking product defects, delivery failures and other recorded incidents involving he supplier’s failure to meet requirements.
  • Develop and improve supplier quality relationships and performance for assigned suppliers through continued communication and site visits to ensure the highest quality manufacturing processes
  • Evaluate suitability and stability of current and potential suppliers of raw material and distributors regarding quality and technical capability.
  • Lead suppliers through resolving discrepancies, including corrective and preventive actions as well as recovery plans.
  • Plan, leads and performs supplier quality audits/assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, waste elimination and continuous improvement.
  • Aide manufacturing in the evaluation and qualification of new supplier materials following a defined NPI process.
  • Communicate supplier performance to senior management.


Preferred Education and Experience: 

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in either engineering, science or manufacturing processes.
  • 5+ years’ industry experience in a manufacturing field with at least 2 years in a supplier quality engineering role.
  • Experience with AS9100 and AS9102 is preferred. Experience in a highly regulated industry is required.
  • ASQ or equivalent Quality Auditor certification is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on a variety of problems of diverse scope and complexity where analysis and evaluation of various outcomes require trade-offs and negotiation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite
  • Ability to think independently, objectively, and with an open mind
  • The ability to work well with multiple teams and personalities


Salary Range
Please note the typical hiring range is $110,000 - $150,000 annually. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
